Review Process
Family Engagement Solutions is powered by National PTA’s Center for Family Engagement. Staff—in collaboration with parent and community leaders from across the country—regularly look for best practices and bright spots in how PTAs, families and schools team up for student success. Through these scans, National PTA identifies models that exemplify one of more of the National Standards for Family-School Partnership and have been evaluated. From there, EvidenceforESSA.org, managed by the Center for Research and Reform in Education at Johns Hopkins University, conducts additional vetting to curate a selection of programs that meet high standards of effectiveness.
This partnership guarantees that the programs delivered through Family Engagement Solutions have a proven track record of success through intentional work that builds the capacity of families and schools. The stringent review process also ensures that schools and teachers have access to programs that meet federal requirements for evidence.
